Obey all marshalsвЂ™ instructions and please wear REFLECTIVE HI VIZ. Please remember these races are on open roads and in the dark. The 1В lap mens race will start at 7pm followed by the 1 lap womens, the 3В lap mens and then the 3 lap womens race at 2 minute intervals.

There will be a briefing just before the start of the races, this is for your safety so please listen carefully

IF YOU FORGET YOUR NUMBER YOU WILL BE CHARGED ВЈ5 FOR A REPLACEMENT. PLEASE KEEP YOUR NUMBER FOR THE WHOLE SERIES. If you want to swap between races (eg 3 lap to 1 lap)В please contact us either before the race or on the evening before the start, or you won't be given a time. If you don't wear your number you will not be given a time. We are using chip numbers this year and electronic timing therefore you must wear your number and please do not cover it or fold it in any way and you must cross the timing mat in order for your time to do registered. The start and finishВ is just outside opposite the Bourne Plaice Chippy. If collecting your number on race night please arrive early to ensure that the races can start promptly at 7.00pm. Number collection will be at the St Pauls Church Hall on TUESDAY 5th OCTOBER from 7 - 9pm for the first race, and on the night of the race thereafter from 6.15pm. There may be more marshals than we need for the series but if we request you to marshal and this request is unfulfilled then you will not be eligible to collect a T-shirt at the end of the series. THIS CAN BE YOURSELF OR A NOMINATED REPLACEMENT IF YOU WISH TO RUN. WE ARE REQUESTING THAT ALL RUNNERS ARE REQUIRED TO MARSHAL AT LEAST ONCE IN THE SERIES. You can request a modification to your entry before the start of each round (so if you want to switch from running to marshalling and vice-versa for that round you can). To qualify for a t-shirt you must have sign up in advance to run or marshalВ in all 6 races. You can change between the 2 distances but in order to count in the league you must have run 4 races out of 6 at the same distance. There is a choice of 1 or 3 lap race, the 1 lap race is 1.7 miles and the 3 lap race is 5 miles. This is a popular series of races held for many years by Northern Athletic Club.
